ABOUT US

Built in 1894, Goose Pond Inn was established as a bed and breakfast in 1987, and was owned and operated by the same couple for 33 years. In  2019, it was completely renovated to its present use and beauty. We purchased this beautiful dog friendly, unpretentious "home away from home" in 2022 and look forward to making it your ultimate vacation getaway!
Well-known for its charming environment and proximity to great restaurants and attractions like Gore Mountain, Revolution Rails, and the North Creek Railroad Depot, the Goose Pond Inn makes it easy to enjoy the best of North Creek. Each room has an en-suite bathroom and free hi-speed WiFi, and a Roku TV. All guests will have access to a mini-fridge/freezer, microwave, complimentary sodas and snacks, and 24 hour coffee & tea bars. In addition, all valued guests will enjoy a free breakfast every morning, with a wide variety of delicious choices. Guests can also enjoy the great outdoors by sitting by our pond, picnic area, and fire pit. While visiting North Creek, you may want to try some of the nearby restaurants, such as Beck's, Basil and Wicks, and barVino. Should time allow, Ski Bowl Park, North Creek Mosaic Project, Square Eddy's Rafting, and Revolution Rail are some popular attractions that are within walking distance. Goose Pond Inn is sure to make your visit to North Creek memorable. Guests arriving by vehicle have access to free parking.

MEET YOUR HOSTS:
Jeff and Penny

Jeff: I've been a mechanic by trade for most of my life. I've always had a passion for cooking, and did so for a few years at a B and B in the Catskills. I am a "jack-of-all-trades" with the ability to fix almost anything! I've always been an avid skier, and Gore mountain has always been one of my favorite resorts.
Penny: I am a retired teacher seeking a relaxing mountain respite as I enter the next phase of life. I love camping, skiing, fishing, and hanging out with my "BFF: Big Furry Friend" Roddy! I also love sharing stories of my grandbabies and conversing with guests. I'm honing my baking skills and I like to create delicious desserts to share with our guests.

Our goal with the Goose Pond Inn is to provide all of the amenities needed to create a relaxing "home away from home" for all of our guests.

MEET THE DOG:
Roddy

Roddy is a 9 year old Bordernese (Border Collie/Burnese Mountain dog mix). He LOVES taking walks, laying in the snow, eating, and relaxing in our living room.

Roddy would love to meet anyone who comes to the inn, but mainly enjoys staying in "his" back yard 🙂
